Pricing for our cookies varies depending on the order. Our start-to-finish custom decorated cookies start at $5 per cookie and includes individual wrapping in heat-sealed cellophane bags. The prices for our standard occasional and holiday sets do vary.

Our address is 4517 Lead Mine Road, Suite B, Raleigh, NC 27612. We are located in the garden level below Crabtree Chiropractic Center – when you arrive, drive down the parking lot and curve left around the side of the building into the side parking lot. You will see the awning over the door and our logo on the separate entrance.

Our standard occasional and holiday sets can be purchased by the half-dozen. For our custom designed cookies, two dozen is the minimum order, and you are welcome to order additional cookies by the half dozen or full dozen after the minimum order.

You may choose up to two different designs per one dozen custom cookies ordered. For example, the minimum order of two dozen custom designed cookies would allow you to choose up to four different designs for your cookie set.

All of our cookies include individual bagging at no extra cost! We use heat-sealed cellophane bags with a small logo sticker placed on the back of the bag. The bags do not include a ribbon or tie closure, and it offers a clean and streamlined look for the cookies. If you prefer for yours to not be wrapped, please let us know in the comments box at checkout. To ensure freshness and safety in transit, all shipped cookies are individually wrapped.

We offer two different sizes of our cookie cakes: 14” for $45 and 16” for $60. The cookie cakes are made with premium Ghirardelli chocolate and weigh about 5 and 7 pounds each, respectively, so they are not your typical cookie cake! They can serve quite a few people depending on how they are cut/served. The price includes two colors of buttercream icing and a simple message.

At this time, we do not offer delivery service. However, you may pick up your cookie order from our bakery location, or we can ship a cookie package anywhere in the United States!

We ship our cookies via UPS Ground. They typically arrive in 1 to 4 days from the shipping date depending on the shipping zone (please contact us to get specific shipping times depending on location). We package the cookies with extra care in order for them to avoid breaking while in transit. We cannot be held responsible for broken cookies once they have left our hands, nor can we be held responsible if a package is shipped out on time but arrives late or is lost en route.

At this time, we are not a retail bakery location, so we do not have cookies ready made for walk-in customers. Each cookie we make is for a custom order that has been previously placed.

Unfortunately, no – we need at least one week for a cookie order due to the time it takes to process an order (this includes the baking, decorating, drying time, and packaging). We recommend placing your order as soon as you can to ensure that our calendar is not booked! If you need to place an emergency order (less than one week from date needed) of a cookie cake or order of sea salt chocolate chip cookies, please email us at admin@southernsugarbakery.com and we will do our best to help you if we can accomodate the order.

It depends! We can take a look at a logo or image to see if it’s possible to replicate by hand or if an edible image is the best way to go. Some logos are just too intricate to replicate with icing by hand, but our edible printed images taste just as delicious and give an exact result. We can even print photographs on a cookie if that is your heart's desire. Either way, we will do our best to come up with the perfect design that will meet your needs.

We cannot guarantee specific color matches for icing colors. When we are sent a desired color for cookies, we will do our very best to make it as close to that color as possible. Keep in mind that sometimes colors will vary in appearance depending on different computer screens, so what looks like a certain color on one screen may look like a totally different shade on our screen when we review it. However, we will attempt to get the shade or color as close as possible to what you have communicated with us.

Yes! Our cookies can be frozen for up to 6 months, and we encourage customers to store the cookies in freezer containers to ensure freshness. To keep the cookie design looking its best, we also recommend placing a sheet of wax paper between each layer of cookies (if not individually wrapped).

No problem! If you need parts of your order on different dates, please place separate orders for each part based on the date you need them picked-up or delivered.
